Splinter Cell: Convictions stay stealthy as well. But beyond that and Hitman i don't see any other stealth games.
He uses. I like story heavy games and all types of games in general. But he's right in some ways. For me through my first playthrough of MGS4 i loved the cutscenes even more than gameplay. For me the gameplay took to much of a action route with a backseat to stealth. But on my second playthrough which i'm doing now trying to get the foxhound rank i'm noticing ALOT of little things. It hasn't even been officially shown yet, i don't know how it looks better than the "idiots who made it" when we have nothing to compare it to as of yet.
As for my personal opinion on how it looks, it looks a bit meh to me. It's a nice gesture and step in the right direction but i'm ready for something a little less simple.

I did become emotionally involved while playing MGS4 though unlike any other game i played. There was quite a few moments that had me mad, sad, puzzled, shocked and other emotions.

Just say that i can be almost completely evil and have a branching storyline. From the moment i heard of Infamous i wanted to get it so i could play as the villain in a game to see the other side of things. Try using the 3 weapon cycle thing. You can select which three weapons you can toggle through starting with your first weapon you spawn with, 2nd toggle and 3rd toggle. I have mines set up so i start with my knife, then toggle to primary then lastly to support item (porno mags) but you can customize the 3 toggle. It works pretty good after you get used to it.
But i like MGO better. There's nothing like playing with your friends shooting them with a mosin nagat then planting some porn magazines around them so when they wake up they get stuck looking through them. So funny. But both of them are really good. It just comes down to preference.
TF2 is still my favorite online game though.
For a while now. Capcom have came up short this gen so far in my eyes. Implying that the sole reason some sites were made to "bring MGS4 ratings up/down" that's a bit of a stretch for me to say. But i DO think there have been quite a few lesser known sites about gaming that has done a MGS4 review to get noticed. It was the same way for when Halo 3 came out, everyone and their great aunt had a review about it.

It's not just you, everyone is getting on the mgs4 review train. Hell even faux news had a review for it.
Still looks pretty bad visual wise though to me. It doesn't look THAT far away from how Resistance: Fall of Man was in my opinion. Though the gameplay does look like it's more dramatic (for lack of a better word). As for Gears 2 these screenshots look better than the actual HD footage i seen of the game so far. I like the detail and better lighting even though it retains the gritty feel of the graphical look... At least that's the impression i get from these screenshots.
